I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities at Ya Do! Kyoto Okazaki. The beds and showers were great, and the hostel was clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the free laundry service and the gluten-free breakfast they provided for my friend who has celiac disease. I had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

The shared kitchen was a great place to pretend I know how to cook. The concierge service was super helpful in organizing tours for me, because I'm way too lazy to do it myself. And the complimentary breakfast? Just what I needed to fuel my sightseeing adventures.
Oh, and let's not forget the concierge service, which did absolutely nothing for me. Not that I needed their help anyway, right?

We got great value for our money with a clean and comfortable room. The location was perfect for exploring key Kyoto areas, and the staff treated us with kindness and efficiency.
More breakfast choices would have made the experience even better.

The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to major bus lines and a subway station only 10 minutes away. It made it easy for me to explore all the different sights in the city. there were two big grocery stores nearby, which was great for picking up snacks and supplies. Lastly, one of the hosts, Fuka, was incredibly kind and friendly, making the hotel feel warm and welcoming.
The website mentioned that breakfast was included, but it was really just white bread and coffee at the reception. I had to go to the nearby supermarket every day to supplement my breakfast with fruits and proteins.

The hotel is conveniently located near downtown, with easy access to the subway and close to the markets. the rooms are spotlessly clean and the bed is comfortable. the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. the free breakfast is basic but good, and the showers are very good as well.
The common areas are a bit cold as there is no heating.
